In this lesson, we will practice the following:
- Qalqalah happens When any of the five letters ق ط ب ج د are saakin and are preceded by a mutaharrik letter.
The sound of the mutaharrik letter is combined with the sound of the saakin latter ensuring the attributes of the
saakin letter are preserved (such as tarqeeq and tafkheem). An exception is taken in the case of ر , غ , خ . These letters get affected by kasrah of the mutaharrik letter and become muraqqaq.
- Note that the Qalqalah letters belong to Shadeedah and Majhoorah group of letters
- Hams happens When ت or ك are saakin and are preceded by a mutaharrik letter.
The sound of the mutaharrik letter is combined with the sound of the saakin latter ensuring tarqeeq of the
letter is preserved.
- Note that the Hams letters belong to Shadeedah and Mahmoosah group of letters
- The air flow continues in all the rest of the letters
